Mbilia Bel – Cadence Mudanda (“Miami Ce”) –M’bilia Bel is a singer from the Democratic Republic of the Congo who performs rumba and world music. She is also regarded as the “Queen of Congolese and African Rumba.” M’bilia Bel is back with a fresh new song that is really stunning, and it’s called Cadence Mudanda.

In addition, Mbilia Bel’s debut album, titled Eswi yo wapi, was published the same year, in 1982. Tabu Ley and M’bilia Bel contributed equally to the writing of the title song, “Where did it harm you?,” which is a rough translation of the lyrics. In Zaire, the song was honoured with the prize for being the best song of 1982, while M’bilia Bel was honoured with the award for being the best newcomer.
