Coolio ft 40 Thevz – See you when you get There -The American rapper Coolio and the British artist 40 Thevz collaborated on the song “C U When U Get There.” It was released in June 1997 as the first single from Coolio’s third studio album, My Soul, and is based on the tune of Johann Pachelbel’s Canon in D Major (1997). The song was also included on the soundtrack of the comedy film Nothing to Lose, which was released in 1997.

The single was released on June 17, 1997, and it reached its highest position on the US Billboard Hot 100 list and the Billboard Hot Rap Tracks chart at number 12 and number seven, respectively. It was Coolio‘s final top-40 success in the US. It was also successful on a global scale, breaking into the top 10 of the charts in a number of nations across Europe. This song was played for the first time in front of an audience before it was ever officially released; it happened in August 1997 during the free concert that MuchMusic’s Electric Circus put on at Paramount Canada’s Wonderland.
