Jinsi ya Kuangalia Matokeo ya Darasa la Saba -After the release of Matokeo ya Darasa la Saba, the list of candidates selected for form one selection is compiled in order to facilitate enrollment in the various government secondary institutions. Only kids who were successful in The Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) that was announced by NECTA are eligible to participate. The pupils who were chosen are those who passed the class with an average grade between A and C.

Examination for Students Leaving Primary School (PSLE)

This is a selection test that the government uses to choose students to enter form one at its schools. All of the students, regardless of whether they were chosen or not, will be awarded certificates.

Every year, the administration of the PSLE takes place during the second week of September.

The goals of the PSLE examinations

The following list provides an outline of the goals for the PSLE:

To evaluate the abilities of learners and the knowledge they have received in the many courses while attending primary school;
To determine whether or whether students have a solid grasp of the fundamental concepts and abilities involved in reading, writing, and arithmetic, as well as how well they are able to apply these skills to the solution of real-world issues; and to

Qualifications Required of Those Who Wish to Take Part in the Examination

Any student who has completed seventh grade, regardless of whether they attended a public or private school, is eligible to enrol and take part in this examination.

Examined Topics/Studies/Programs

Hisabati, which translates to mathematics, English Language, Sayansi, which translates to science, Maarifa ya Jamii, which translates to social studies, and Kiswahili are the topics that are tested during the PSLE.

Each topic has its own examination layout, which details the format of the test paper as well as the topics that are included on that particular examination.
