Despite the fact that she was new to Coke Studio, she was given the chance to be elevated to the high-profile artists lineup as a result of her performance.

After being nominated for and ultimately taking home the award for Best Female Performer in East Africa at the All Africa Music Awards in November, Nandy made Tanzania a proud nation (AFRIMMA).
