Aslay first rose to fame as a member of the Yamoto Band, a popular Tanzanian group that also included Mbosso, Beka Flavour, and Enock Bella. After Yamoto Band disbanded in 2017, he embarked on a solo journey, building a significant following with hits like Naenda Kusema.
