Born in 1969, Moses Malulu Injendi had a distinguished career in academia before transitioning into politics. He pursued his education at Lugusi Primary School, then continued to St. Ignatius Mukumu Boys High School and St. Peter’s Boys High School Mumias for his O-levels and A-levels, respectively.

Injendi furthered his studies at Egerton University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Sociology in 1991. He later obtained a Master of Arts in Sociology from the University of Nairobi in 1996 and was pursuing a Ph.D. at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in South Africa at the time of his passing.

From Academia to Politics

Before venturing into politics, Injendi served as a lecturer at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa from 1996 to 2013. During this period, he also held administrative roles as Registrar and Deputy Registrar.
