Nyimbo za Simba sports club -A professional football team named Simba Sports Club is headquartered in Tanzania’s Kariakoo Ward in the Ilala District of Dar es Salaam.
It was first known as Queens, in honor of Her Majesty, the Queen of England, when it was founded in 1936 as a breakaway club from another dominant football side in Tanzania, Dar Young Africans. The club underwent a number of name changes, starting with Queens, then Eagles, Sunderland, and eventually Simba (Swahili for “Lion”) in 1971.

With a total budget of TSh 6.1 billion (equal to $5.3 million) announced for the 2019–2020 season, the club is among the wealthiest in East Africa.
