KGF 2 Box Office Collection – The year’s first major original Hindi movie, Pathaan, starring Shahrukh Khan, amassed an amazing Rs 453 crore in total domestic receipts after only 10 days on the box office. This puts it on course to beat the Hindi film KGF: Chapter 2’s record-breaking 2022 box office performance.

The makers of Pathaan, Yash Raj Films, announced on Saturday that the movie has made a total of Rs 729 crore in international box office receipts, with Rs 453 crore coming from India alone. This places it rather close to the gross domestic Hindi collections of KGF: Chapter 2.

KGF: Chapter 2 is the highest grossing Hindi movie of 2022 with domestic box office receipts of Rs 509 crore. The number of south Indian films competing with Bollywood in the Hindi film business increased this year. Brahmstra, one of the best original Hindi films of the year, made Rs 273 crore, according to data from Ormax Media.

KGF: Chapter 2 and RRR (directed by Rajamouli), which debuted last year, were the top three Hindi films by domestic box office revenue.

KGF Chapter 2 Release Date

K.G.F: Chapter 2 was supposed to come out on October 23, 2020, to coincide with the Dussehra holiday, however that release date was pushed back because of the COVID-19 pandemic in India. The filmmakers revealed a new date for the theatrical debut in January 2021: July 16, 2021. But for the same reason, this was also delayed.

Actor Yash, producer Vijay Kiragandur, and director Prashanth Neel received a notification from the Karnataka State Anti-Tobacco Cell in January 2021 for neglecting to display anti-smoking warning signs, particularly during scenes where Yash was seen smoking. Such warnings are necessary by law to stop fans from copying such acts.

Finally, a new release date of 14 April 2022 was revealed on August 22, 2021. Chapter 2 of K.G.F. was published in Kannada.
