Gregory Isaacs – I Don’t know you –Gregory Anthony Isaacs OD (Jamaica, 15 July 1951 – 25 October 2010) was a reggae musician. Isaacs was regarded as “the most magnificent singer in reggae” by Milo Miles in The New York Times.

Isaacs became a veteran of the talent shows that were held in Jamaica throughout his adolescence. Winston Sinclair made his music debut in 1968 with the track “Another Heartache,” recorded for producer Byron Lee. The song did not sell well, and Isaacs went on to form the African Museum record label and shop with Errol Dunkley, and quickly had a hit with “My Only Lover,” which is regarded as the first lovers rock record ever created. In the three years that followed, he had a succession of songs ranging from ballads to roots reggae, including “All I Have Is Love,” “Lonely Soldier,” “Black a Kill Black,” and “Extra Classic.”
