Boney M – Jingle Bells –Boney M was a vocal group from Europe and the Caribbean that was founded by German record producer Frank Farian, who was also the major songwriter for the group.

In addition, “Jingle Bells” is one of the most well-known and widely performed melodies to originate from the United States all over the world. James Lord Pierpont (1822–1893) was the author of this work, and in the fall of 1857, it was released to the public under the title “The One Horse Open Sleigh.”
It has been suggested that it was initially created to be performed by a choir at a Sunday school or that it was intended to be used as a drinking song.
Despite the fact that it was not originally linked with Christmas, beginning in the 1860s and 1870s, it became to be associated with Christmas music and the holiday season. In the 1880s, it was included in a number of parlour song collections and college anthologies.
