Yanga Sc History
The first known records of the club date back to the 1910s; nevertheless, 1935 is considered to be the beginning of the club’s officially recognised history. At that time, residents of Dar es Salaam, who were categorised as Africans by the colonial administration in Tanganyika, made the decision to form a football club in order to compete in a league that was full of football clubs that were considered to be “non-African.”
